Lecturer at the Department of Architecture of ISCTE (Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa) in Lisbon. 

Currently lectures the following courses:
- Construction Management
- Quality Management
- Design co-ordination and Management

Main scientific areas: construction management, quality / safety / environmental management and organizational innovation.

Formerly lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering of the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), in Lisbon, part the Technical University of Lisbon (1992-2004). Courses lectured at IST: Construction Management and Project Management to the Civil Engineering and Industrial Management courses, respectively.
