Objectives |
Develop critical thinking about architectural photography and produce
architectural photography to high standards. |
Program |
1 - Historical overview.
2 - Basic techniques - lenses, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focusing.
Optics and human vision.
3 - Operation of a digital camera - equipment guide.
4 - Framing - light, space, perspective, colour, texture
5 - Editing digital images.
6 - Architectural photography: interior and exterior. Photographing
models.
7 - Special cases: night, macros, landscapes, black and white.
8 - Creation of a portfolio - personal or for a client. Architectural

Evaluation Method |
Grading will result from the preparation and presentation of an individual
assignment comprising two parts:
- photographic study of a building;
- research essay on a subject to be selected.
Students are required to attend at least 60% of classes.
Students that are not approved may register for an exam. There will
be only one exam sitting. |
